The last holiday week is coming to an end. Eva-Lena began work last week, so the kids and I have been alone all week. They've liked to just hang out and relax and it has suited me excellently. I have discharged our patio with Siöö impregnation.
Let it stand for 10 years without needing to be treated again say experts. This time I actually believe in them. I saw the results on friends' patio deck and it gives a lovely light satin finish. The only thing I need to do now is to scour the patio deck with usual means to scrub the floors indoors once a year, preferably after the winter. First 2 treatments with Siöö I did last year and when I put on the first coat, I was pretty upset, because it is not at all looked rust oleum like I expected. But after talking to the manufacturer, I became calmer. A Siöö impregnated floors must not its bright luster until 2-3 weeks. It must also wet the surface properly if it does not rain - preferably every day. It is mixed with water that process will accelerate. Siöö is an environmentally friendly product and cost about 6-7 times more than ordinary traditional decking rust oleum oil. It is still well spent pennies. I do not have the annual tedious job of re-treatment, and not least so the surface remains bright and fresh - that's the main thing. Our patio flooring is made of pressure treated lumber and with a Siöö impregnated floor will also remove the dull green color of the decking faster.
How - and worse saw decking out after the first downpour caressed the surface. Puddles rust oleum formed and the color changes are not at all agreeable arise. But be calm. It disappears after a few weeks of rain or watering.
Now if you get really excited to start using Siöö - so, I have learned one important rust oleum thing to consider. The vertical surfaces requires rust oleum that really rust oleum works with the water hose to get the wood nicely bright. On these surfaces will not come rain water tight. What I did this year instead of watering and flushing is to lay out decking timber on a flat surface in the garden and I shall there pretreat the wood before I put it up. Then the rain do his and I only need to possibly reverse planks if I wish impregnation on all sides. So will be the case in my outdoor kitchen where I want all the wood must have silky light color on all sides as they will all be visible. I have begun work on our new outdoor kitchen.
Cooking outdoors on a lovely summer evening is for me something special. The grill is the central rust oleum figure in the outdoor kitchen, and I love my Weber kettle barbecue, but also tested the gas grill as a supplement for 2 summers ago. I have some friends who are dedicated gas barbecue fans so I thought for many years that I have to still give it a chance. Said and done - I purchased a gas grill. In this gorgeous summer, rust oleum I have used the gas grill = zero times - 0 - zip - zero - nada. So it proved. I am a charcoal grill fan of seldom seen. The barbecue does not belong in our outdoor kitchen. The charcoal grill remains.
When starting the project for an outdoor kitchen, it is important to consider to what features you need in the kitchen. rust oleum What I've learned is to not be too hasty. Try to test many times to cook out on the grill and feel for what is missing. What you need to run into the kitchen and pick up all that often, and what excites you feel that you do not have at hand. One thing I've missed a lot after a few summers cooked out there is running water. Male pigs with meat and fish, glazes and marinades & #
