Eva-Lena began work last week, so the kids and I have been alone all week. They've liked to just hang out and relax and it has suited me excellently. I have discharged our patio with Siöö impregnation. Let it stand for 10 years without needing to be treated again say experts. This time I actually believe in them. I saw the results on friends' patio deck and it gives a lovely light satin finish. The only thing I need to do now is to scour the patio deck with usual means to scrub the floors indoors once a year, preferably after the winter. First 2 treatments with Siöö I did last year and when I put on the first coat, I was pretty upset, because it is not at all looked rust oleum like I expected. But after talking to the manufacturer, I became calmer. A Siöö impregnated floors must not its bright luster until 2-3 weeks. It must also wet the surface properly if it does not rain - preferably every day. It is mixed with water that process will accelerate. Siöö is an environmentally friendly product and cost about 6-7 times more than ordinary traditional decking rust oleum oil. It is still well spent pennies. I do not have the annual tedious job of re-treatment, and not least so the surface remains bright and fresh - that's the main thing. Our patio flooring is made of pressure treated lumber and with a Siöö impregnated floor will also remove the dull green color of the decking faster. We have built outdoor kitchen and now it is becoming clear. Breadboard, david burke kitchen gas grill, gas plate and a hefty workplace. Ute Bar stools have been purchased and now we're just waiting on the summer weather, and on the printed square rods will turn gray and become stylish silver gray. On the storage wall is visible on the wire and climbs a Clematis 'Summer Snow' (not visible now). In a month it will cover the whole lower part of the reservoir wall. Neat! The husband and I have always said that we want to have an outdoor kitchen, and this summer lakera it will become reality. The only hard part is that there are so many great tips. In the picture above, I like all that it is black and it looks good with those narrow horizontal ribs, it's probably something I will avail myself of. It looks handy to have a sink that both protects and durability. One option is to build it up with Leca blocks, neat and plain, but not excluded. Nice when you can polish it black or white. Another project I've been talking about for years but never have been completed to, is the outdoor kitchen.
