Welcome to My Modern Metropolis

Entire Alphabet Found on the Wing Patterns of Butterflies - My Modern Metropolis
Norwegian nature photographer Kjell Bloch Sandved has devoted his photographic career to capturing the beauty of the world we live in and along the way, amassed a collection of butterfly country cupboard and moth images with interesting patterns on their wings. Sanved's keen eye took notice of the spectacular shapes the natural designs country cupboard came in, recognizing their resemblance to letters of the alphabet. As a result, he formed the Butterfly Alphabet .
Featuring all twenty-six letters in the English alphabet, as well as the ten single-digit numbers (0 through 9), Sandved assembled a wonderfully colorful collection country cupboard of readable butterfly and moth wings. Since compiling his discovery into an alphabet, Sandved has been offering customers the chance to not only purchase a poster of the full alphabet but to even request custom prints of words spelled out in the butterfly letters.

There was actually some fairly entertaining stuff in "ClosetCon '13," aside from the titular ClosetCon itself. It still seemed like there was just one too many plots crammed spacesaver into this show, but that seems an inevitable fact now that the kids are getting older, spacesaver so we're just going to try our best to get over it. If they keep parodying famous movies/events spacesaver (i.e. last week's cop drama, this week's space trip), we're more likely to forgive them.
Claire and Jay Go to ClosetCon There's a skeleton in the closet and then they revealed their hidden secrets? Really? Could they be any more obvious? The "joke" about straightening up around grandma later was less clunky than this entire spacesaver plot. Bringing up old crap about how Jay hated Phil and how Claire tried to get Gloria deported just seems so dated at this point and not even remotely funny. And there's only so many corny closet jokes a person can handle.
Alex and Haley Do Some Hairography We really do like it when the sisters drive each other crazy, and we don't get to see that often enough. Watching as they vied for the attention of a pizza boy was pretty fun, and the person writing their banter spacesaver last night about why the pizza boy loved them really hit it out of the park. It was spot-on dialogue for these two, only briefly interrupted by a few sage comments from Gloria. spacesaver
Phil Goes to the Moon "Houston. We have a situation." This entire Apollo 13 parody was great. Down to Phil discovering Jay's secret model closet to Fred Willard helping via Skype to everyone glued to their screens to see if the last bit of glue reattaching would be a success. It was clever and cute and charmed our cynical spacesaver little hearts. Also, it brought out the goofiness in Phil that we've been missing for a while.
Mitchell and Cam Get Their Green Acres On Maybe the best these two have been since they've gotten engaged? We were skeptical when we saw a cranky Mitchell belittling Cam's accent and pig calling skills, but the second he put on the overalls and decided to go along with placating spacesaver Cam's grandma instead of making a huge issue, we wanted to reach through the TV and give him a big hug. Seeing Cam's face as Mitchell went on about raising Lily on his own was some fine acting. The whole situation spacesaver with the judgmental grandma seemed very real and not overly cartoon-y, which we really appreciate. Also, more of Lily in those cute pigtails running spacesaver around would always be welcome.

Okay, so we have Utopia Sprawl and Arbor Elf . After that, Trevor has Joraga Treespeaker how to pain

I will neither confirm, nor deny, the state of my mental acuity when I opened up the email containing how to paint cabinets Trevor how to paint cabinets Holness's decklist. But I can definitely say that, if the deck itself how to paint cabinets didn't physically grab me, I certainly imagined it doing so and pulling me in deeper and deeper, like a black hole or Brian Kibler shuffling his hand of cards.
This is a deck I instantly built up in Magic Online and started working on. It's the most fun I've had in Modern in the format's existence and I have built a lot of Modern decks. And now, it's time to let this deck grab you.
60 cards 2 Boseiju, Who Shelters All 7 Forest 1 Kessig Wolf Run 4 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx 4 Stomping Ground 4 Verdant Catacombs 22 lands 4 Burning-Tree Emissary 4 Craterhoof Behemoth 4 Elvish Visionary 4 Joraga Treespeaker 4 Llanowar Elves 4 Lotus Cobra 4 Primeval Titan 28 creatures 4 Expedition Map 4 Genesis Wave 8 other spells 2 Garruk Wildspeaker 2 planeswalkers
You've probably seen how strong Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx has been in Standard. It constantly puts its user ahead on mana by a significant amount, how to paint cabinets and in a deck like Makihito Mihara's Colossal Gruul from the Top 8 of Pro Tour Theros how to paint cabinets it can even be tapped and untapped with Voyaging Satyr to create ten+ mana in a single turn.
Well, if you thought that was good, just wait until you see what this deck can do. With my evolution of this deck, I've produced well over a hundred mana in a single turn and that's not even a rare event!
This deck is full of green mana symbols and acceleration to power up your devotion. Thanks to all of your ramp and Nykthos, you have a number of juicy cards you can cast quickly, like Primeval Titan . But the real all-star you're building up to is Genesis Wave .
You can tap a bunch of mana, pump it into a Genesis Wave , and then if you hit Nykthos and two more mana you can effortlessly create a bunch more mana and continue onward. Garruk Wildspeaker also helps you go crazy, untapping your Nykthos and letting you generate mana from it multiple times each turn. Your endgame here is Craterhoof Behemoth , smashing in your opponent's face for a ton of damage.
The average win turn for this deck? After playing a lot, it's usually how to paint cabinets turn four or five and very occasionally turn three. (Theoretically, you can kill on turn two, although that's realistically a bit of a stretch.) You can certainly grind out a long game if you need to but your deck is so explosive that often you'll be able to finish off the game in the first few turns. (Especially once you make a few tweaks.)
This deck aims to ramp and accelerate how to paint cabinets quickly while also adding green mana symbols to the board, and one-drop accelerants fit that goal perfectly. The only question is: which ones should this deck be playing?
I think this deck actually wants more than just eight. I want to play one on turn one most games and flood the board with them early. I'm actually looking more in the range of fifteen to sixteen! So, which ones?
First of all, it has "haste," meaning that it produces a mana as soon as it hits the battlefield. (Provided you cast it on an untapped Forest.) Second, it works well with anything that untaps how to paint cabinets your lands for example, untapping it with Garruk now provides you with two mana rather than one. Third, it isn't a creature, providing you with a bit of resilience toward board sweepers.
On its own, the Elf is identical to a Llanowar Elves almost all of the time. However, with Utopia Sprawl , you can net a ton of mana! A not-uncommon play in this deck is turn-one Arbor Elf , turn two Utopia Sprawl on an untapped forest, tap it for two mana, untap it, cast Garruk. (Perhaps untapping your lands and casting something else!) That's a crazy turn-two play!
Okay, so we have Utopia Sprawl and Arbor Elf . After that, Trevor has Joraga Treespeaker how to paint cabinets a very nice addition. A lot of other similar decks I've seen (or was sent) didn't have this guy. While it doesn't jump you to three mana on turn two, that's okay this deck wants to ramp into big things, not turn-two three-drops. What it does do is enable turn-three Primeval Titan s alongside how to paint cabinets another mana producer, and help you hit a critical mass of mana for Genesis Wave or your other huge creatures earlier. I definitely want all four of these.
I'm going to round it out with two Llanowar Elves and an Elvish Mystic . Traditional and consistent, there's nothing wrong with relying on these. I'm splitting them two and one because they're functionally how to paint cabinets identical, and there are corner cases with cards like Detention Sphere . (Plus, it also might make your opponent think you're playing more Elves than you actually are.)
Speaking of acceleration, here's another accelerator. This one has the upside of being particularly good with Genesis Wave , letting you Wave and then pick up an extra mana for each land you hit. It also can help power out big threats early thanks to fetch lands .
However, what I've found is that y

Hale, with fellow PSL founder Kerry Harker, stress that the Tetley is not another kitchen accessorie

Sixty former Tetley beer workers will on Friday enjoy tea and cake at their art deco former kitchen accessories headquarters and see a somewhat unlikely transformation.
"We hope they will be absolutely blown away," said Pippa Hale, co-founder of an organisation opening a new visual arts centre called, obviously, the Tetley . All the brewing and bottling works have gone from what was a 22-acre site on Leeds ' south bank, but the main office building remains.
Its owner Carlsberg kitchen accessories has given a ten-year lease on a peppercorn rent to the arts organisation Project Space Leeds (PSL) and they will open it to the public on Friday once the ex-employees have had their look round.
Hale, with fellow PSL founder Kerry Harker, stress that the Tetley is not another kitchen accessories of the super-galleries kitchen accessories that have opened in recent kitchen accessories years like the Baltic in Gateshead or the Hepworth Wakefield but is filling the gap between galleries of that type and the busy, buzzy grassroots arts scene that exists in the city.
Harker recalled first seeing the building and said they knew straight kitchen accessories away it was right, although there was a definite air of dereliction. "It was really gloomy and it was a bit of a leap of faith to imagine how it might look." kitchen accessories
There are no plans to create a Tetley archive as such, but objects and documents a National Institute of Industrial Psychology pamphlet on card punching, for example - will be used to inspire artists and be put on display.
Called Fear of the Surplus, the artists have built a black wooden stage with a Victorian Methodist feel to it. On it are painted quotes about work and art and it will be used as a platform for debates about what work is led by different academics and theorists.
Work on the conversion began in September 2012 and it has been undertaken with relatively small amounts of money. Carlsberg have given around 1m to help renovation and the introduction of disabled access, while Arts Council England gave a capital grant of 225,000.
PSL, a charity which for six years was based in a rather isolated, disused office space at Whitehall Waterfront, has the building for ten years a period that will coincide with the 200th anniversary of Joshua Tetley and Son and hope to be there a lot longer. "We would like them to gift us the building obviously, we have mooted the idea," said Harker. "We think the anniversary would be a good point to do it."

According to Oxford Dictionary the term Slave is defined as a person designer kitchens who is the legal property of another and is forced to obey them as in the case of the United States during the 18 th and 19 th centuries where slavery was a legalized institution. Oxford dictionary also defines slavery as a person who works very hard without proper designer kitchens remuneration or appreciation as in today s world of a person working for a company or corporation where their efforts are usually under appreciated. It also describes a slave as a person who is excessively dependent upon or controlled by something or a device, or part of one, directly controlled by another designer kitchens . Debt can be an instrument used to control an individual or a nation for that matter. In this case, an individual is dependent upon Credit to buy products. designer kitchens
Then designer kitchens the credit becomes a debt that has to be repaid. It becomes a control mechanism as the creditor becomes the Slave Owner and the debtor becomes the Slave . What is the point? In today s world of unlimited credit, consumers become modern-day slaves to their creditors. What is the difference between slavery in 18 th century America with imported African slaves designer kitchens and the America of 2013? There is no difference besides the physical abuse of the African slaves by their owners. In America, consumers suffer psychological abuse by its creditors. As long as an individual remains in debt bondage, that person will have to repay that debt until the day that person literally dies in most cases.
Black designer kitchens Friday is the day that starts the most important holiday for big name retailers and Wall Street speculators designer kitchens and that is Christmas. It is the shopping season that investors, economists and corporations pay close attention to as they measure consumer confidence and the profits they reap from consumer spending. Major retailers and corporations such as Wal-Mart expect to make profits. Wall Street expects consumers to spend on Black Friday through the Christmas holidays following the Federal Reserve s continued policies of Quantitative Easing (QE). Economists across the spectrum predict that the new Federal Reserve chairwoman Janet Yellen will continue to buy US bonds indefinitely continuing Ben Bernanke s current policies.
All the while consumers continue to accumulate debt. Black Friday was marked designer kitchens with chaos followed by violence as mobs of consumers raided shopping centers and malls for discounts designer kitchens and sales on numerous products including flat screen televisions, toys, clothing and other goods they most likely don t need. Regardless of the economic situation, consumers will continue designer kitchens to buy. Granted, Christmas is about giving your loved ones gifts in a traditional sense. It is also about spending time with the family. It is supposed to be a joyous holiday for families, but the American population is mired in debt ranging from credit cards, mortgages, designer kitchens student loans and auto loans. Earlier this month Bloomberg reported that U.S. households increased their debt levels by continuing to borrow at unprecedented levels:
Consumer indebtedness rose $127 billion to $11.28 trillion, designer kitchens the biggest increase since the first quarter of 2008, according designer kitchens to a quarterly report designer kitchens on household debt and credit released today by the Fed district bank. Mortgage balances climbed $56 billion, student loans increased $33 billion, auto loans were up $31 billion and credit-card debt rose by $4 billion.
We observed an increase of household balances across essentially all types of debt, Donghoon Lee, senior research economist at the New York Fed, said in a statement. With non-housing debt consistently increasing and the factors pushing down mortgage balances waning, it appears that households have crossed a turning point in the deleveraging cycle.
Consumerism has taking hold in America. The population continues to stampede at malls and in some cases injuring and even killing individuals. designer kitchens In 2008, a Wal-Mart worker was trampled to death in Long Island, New York by a stampede of hungry consumers looking for bargains. There were also several people injured during the incident. This Black Friday proved to be more of the same as shoppers filled shopping malls. Some malls experienced violent crowds pushing and fighting with each other over items that were on sale. It is absolutely mind boggling to see average people become violent over products sold at major retail stores. designer kitchens Morality is in decline in America.

1. DUX , Sega Dreamcast (2009)
Somewhere at this moment, someone is forming a sentimental relationship with technology. They’re rustoleum cabinet transformations pawing at an iPad Air or listening to the complete King Crimson discography through Google Music on their Nexus phone and thinking it won’t ever get better than this. But in 20 years or less, those tools will be as hopelessly antiquated as an atlatl in the age of bows. Some people just don’t want to let go, though, and rather than crave the technology’s pure functionality, they savor its eccentricities.
Why make games for the Sega Dreamcast in 2013, 12 years after the console was discontinued and replaced by more advanced machinery? Because nothing else feels quite like a Dreamcast game. You can mimic the Dreamcast by rigging a software emulator to play its games on your PC—or simply by recreating their distinct brand of weirdness on another platform—but for some people, nothing but the original will suffice. Martin Konrad and Rene Hellwig made DUX for the Dreamcast in 2009. It’s a traditional rustoleum cabinet transformations space shooter—your rustoleum cabinet transformations tiny ship slowly flies from left to right shooting down other spaceships. It’s not just built to play on the Dreamcast, it’s also built to evoke the system’s physical appearance. It does so superficially, with its whitewashed sci-fi corridors rustoleum cabinet transformations and your red triangular spaceship—both prominently featured in the Dreamcast’s design—and on a more subtle level with its minimalist, modern spin on classic design.
The developers of NG:Dev.Team have particular tastes. Making a macho running-and-gunning game in the vein of Contra isn’t enough for the German studio. Instead, the creators of Gunlord  aspired to make a game that felt like the old German shooters of the 1980s and early ’90s—like Factor 5’s largely forgotten Amiga game Turrican , itself rustoleum cabinet transformations a slice of Contra fallout. And so the developer made Gunlord , a game whose layout is as anachronistic as its title. (If it were meant to ape modern games, it would be called Gunlord: Origins Retribution Ascension .) The titular lord of firearms runs around multi-tiered fantasy landscapes (which look as if they were plucked from the side of a metalhead’s conversion van) and blows up robot monster hybrids. Gunlord can be played on Dreamcast, but its more fitting home is the Neo Geo, which was best known for lavishly animated two-dimensional games like this one. NG:Dev.Team went to great lenths to replicate the Neo Geo experience as well. Gunlord is available as a cartridge for Neo Geo arcade cabinets and as a wildly expensive cartridge for the Neo Geo AES home console.
As time marches on, the SNES dominates popular consciousness when it comes to classic role-playing games (it’s always “ Final Fantasy VI this,” and “ rustoleum cabinet transformations Crono Trigger that”), rustoleum cabinet transformations but the Sega Genesis had an earthy quality that made its fantasies something special as well. Games like Shining Force and Landstalker looked dirty—adventures rustoleum cabinet transformations out in the woods that appeared to be practically made out of wood. Pier Solar And The Great Architects by game studio WaterMelon nailed that Genesis RPG style. It’s rife with the same dark color and harsh sounds Genesis game’s are known for, as well as the brutal difficulty of its signature rustoleum cabinet transformations Phantasy Star RPGs. Three young botanists rustoleum cabinet transformations set out on an adventure to find a magic herb and save one of their dads, and they get in lots of random turn-based fights along the way. The team even obsessively rustoleum cabinet transformations recreated Genesis packaging for the game’s release.  “If we want a Genesis game to feel authentic, it has to come with a packaging equal or better than what we use to get back then,” Tulio Adriano Cardoso Goncalves, Pier Solar ’s designer, told Polygon . That’s commitment.
The Atari 2600 endures not because its games were especially good, but because it was the first home gaming machine to offer a variety of games beyond virtual ping pong. Pitfall and Adventure are foundational texts, but they’re not exactly readable at this point. Atari 2600 games are aesthetically abrasive, which makes it hilarious when developers who are still tinkering with the hardware remake modern blockbusters, like a devolved interpretation of Halo  that has been reduced to squawking essentials. Will Nicholes’ Duck Attack! , however, is an oddity. It’s a wholly modern 2600 game that’s actually fun and as awesomely weird as old 2600 games like Frankenstein’s Monster . Rather than control a duck, you’re in control of a robot who invades a mad scientist’s lab and tries to destroy his army of fire-breathing, nuclear-egg-laying mallards. Both the ducks and the robot are crafted with an impressive amount of detail
